ABOUT spanishfoodgirl
Marta Ortiz, spanishfoodgirl, was born in a small village on the Valencian Coast of Spain. She spent many of her young days in the kitchen of her Valencian grandmother, picking up those essentials tips to making a really great Paella. She also spent a lot of time with her Navarran grandmother, who spent most her life living in many regions across Spain, acquiring a culinary repertoire spanning the entire peninsula.

After living outside of Spain for more than 12 years, Marta realised how many non-Spaniards did not have access to such genuine Spanish home recipes. So, she set out to produce a cookbook which would do her grandmothers justice. The “Great taste of Spain” is written by a real everyday Spanish person, based on genuine recipes and just the way they have been for hundreds of years.
